The Traxxas TORC Series-The Off Road Championship, presented by AMSOIL is the world's premier off road series, bringing together the best of Midwest short course off-road racing with exciting new Western State venues. TORC drivers push the limits with action-packed fender pounding on challenging natural terrain racetracks. The season kicks off May 15, 2009.

Perris,Ca. (March 20, 2009)- The Traxxas TORC Series and the Professional Drivers Group (PDG) are excited to host a 2009 pre-season kick-off event! Come meet the people behind TORC and the PDG.
Johnny Greaves, Scott Douglas, Ricky Johnson, and many more TORC drives will be on hand for a fabulous evening of fun, drinks, and a private screening of "Crandon Movie" produced by Steve Naughton. The event will be held Wednesday March 25, 2009 at Oakley Headquarters located at:
